Fervently Working Part II

September 13, 2010

Its been a busy summer. I got to meet a lot of great people and make some awesome new friends.

I was lucky enough to visit a whole bunch of countries I had previously never been to, so for that I want to thank all the kids out there who bought tickets to our shows and helped keep the Gallows monster alive. Thank YOU!

I have been back in Brooklyn for two weeks now and it feels great. Been riding my bike a lot and spending a lot of hours in the studio working on some new paintings for a group show next month. Click here to see the flyer for the show!

The opening reception is October 7th and it would be amazing to see some friends there, so if you happen to be in the SF area consider this your invitation! Come out and help me celebrate and buy a painting from me!

Anybody that has met me will know how much of my life revolves around Art and I am stoked that Angela asked me to be a part of the show, the line-up is great and I cant wait to see my work hanging on the wall amongst all the other great artists taking part, so Thank You Angela! Now all I have to do is get the fucking paintings finished in time…

I have actually taken a sabbatical from Modern Warfare 2 in order to make sure I get the paintings finished and if im honest I havent missed it as much as I thought I would.. too many modding/glitching/cheating noobs on that fucking game anyways. When Black Ops comes out lets hope its a different story..

Anyways.. here are some new photographs from my Summer. Enjoy!

Where greebos go to die.

and heres a couple from my trip to Japan earlier in the year…

some beautiful girl on the subway.

and a handful of colour shots..

There will be a colour photo update soon and Im going to add some of my favourite portrait photos to the Photography page and I will be filling up the Modern Electric Tattooing page soon as well so make sure you visit again or you can subscribe and get updated every time I post something new thats worth looking at!

Tomorrow I am going to get Tattooed for the first time in way too long. Steve Boltz at SMITH STREET TATTOO PARLOR is doing it and I am real stoked on it. Also their Tattoo Shop is one of my favourites ever so go check out the links to their site and get an education in good tattooing!

Thats it for now. Let me know what you think and dont forget about the exhibition in San Francisco next month!
